Caprice hails 'miracle babies'

Model Caprice has spoken of the moment she discovered she was expecting two baby sons - just a month apart.

The celebrity learned she was pregnant earlier this year shortly after a surrogate confirmed she was carrying a child for Caprice and her partner Ty Comfort.

The couple opted for a gestational surrogacy, where their sperm and egg are used to create an embryo in a laboratory before being transferred to another woman's womb, after being told they were unlikely to conceive naturally.

But the American model and businesswoman, recently seen competing in Tom Daley's Splash! celebrity diving television series, is now six months pregnant after conceiving with her millionaire partner. It comes after her personal trauma of suffering a miscarriage with the financial investor, whom she met in June 2011.

In an interview with The Sun today, the 41-year-old said: "We have been to hell and back. I would have given up all the fame, money and magazine covers in half a heartbeat to become a mom.

"Now I just can't wait to hold both my boys in my arms. Life couldn't get any more complete. They're my miracle babies."

The couple will travel to California next month to wait for the surrogate birth on August 28. Caprice's baby is due exactly a month later.

She added: "There are many, many women who have been in my position. I would say don't give up. Sometimes miracles do happen."
