Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent ‘looking for Malibu base’
Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent are reportedly eyeing up properties in California as they look to buy a home in America.
Cara Delevingne and St. Vincent are apparently house hunting in Malibu.
The couple, who first started dating in late 2014, already owns an apartment in Paris, which came in handy when model-turned-actress Cara, 23, was filming Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets in the French city.
Cara and her 33-year-old musician girlfriend, real name Annie Clark, are now said to want a base in America, and are considering the Californian beach city Malibu as a potentially perfect location.
“Cara has been spending more and more time in Los Angeles,” a source explained to Britain’s Grazia magazine. “While they were making their relationship work, with Cara staying with Annie at her New York home as much as possible, it’s hard. The original plan was to be in Paris, but they decided they need to lay down roots in L.A. too.
“While Annie will keep her home in the East Village, she’s agreed to move to Malibu with Cara. She grew up in Texas and misses the heat so she’s excited to return to warmer temperatures. They’ve agreed they don’t want to be in the city, they want a home away from the hustle and bustle, so they’re looking in Malibu and the Pacific Palisades.”
The publication reports the pair has their hearts set on a property overlooking the Pacific, nestled in the Malibu mountains. Claims that the pair are looking for a property together come after it was revealed they had become “pre-engaged”. Grazia explains this means Cara and St. Vincent plan to marry even if there’s no formal proposal.
“They’re hoping to buy soon. With Cara’s career going from strength to strength, it seems this may be a permanent base for them,” the insider concluded.
