Caroline Flack: I'm cool with Harry Styles questions

Caroline Flack insists being quizzed about her relationship with Harry Styles doesn't "bug" her.

The X Factor presenter met the One Direction heartthrob on the show in 2010, when his band was put together, and they began dating the following year. At the time Caroline was the host of spin-off programme The Xtra Factor and her relationship with the then 17-year-old Harry raised eyebrows as she was 14 years his senior.

They aren't together now, but Caroline has accepted the subject is always going to be gossiped about.

"Being asked about the Harry thing doesn't bug me," she told British magazine Cosmopolitan.

"People are interested in those sort of things because they're in the public domain, so you just learn to laugh it off. It's funny, it's not serious."

At the moment Caroline is single, following the end of her romance with Jack Street. She isn't in a hurry to find love again, but when she does feel ready she hopes it'll happen organically.

"I could use Tinder, but I'm quite traditional when it comes to meeting people. It's a chemistry thing for me – you just instantly 'feel' it, or you don't," she said.

"I've always got time for a relationship. If you like someone, even if its 2am and you've just finished work, then you get that lovely feeling where you want to see them for an hour…I've always got time for that."

In terms of The X Factor, Caroline has graduated and is now presenting the main show alongside Olly Murs following the departure of Dermot O'Leary.

The audition rounds kicked off last weekend, but it's when the live shows start that things get interesting. Much fuss is made about the fashion featured, although Caroline has insisted she isn't one for big gowns - she's leaving that to judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

Another hotly-anticipated part of the series is who each of the judges will be mentoring. This year viewers voted to hand out the categories for the first time, and the announcement was made last night.

Cheryl will look after the groups, Simon Cowell has the overs, Rita Ora will mentor the girls and Nick Grimshaw is handling the boys.
