Carson seethes over camp 'thieves'

Racing champ Willie Carson was seething after he found out about the camp 'traitors'

Willie Carson was seething after he found out he was forced to sleep in a rat-infested cave due to two of his I'm A Celebrity campmates turning "traitor".

The racing champ, 69, lost his rag in a furious outburst when he discovered Antony Cotton and Dougie Poynter had been stealing from the other contestants.

The duo had been put up to it by producers of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! as part of a task to win luxuries for the rest of the camp.

But their pleas and apologies went unheeded by Willie who labelled them "thieves" in a foul-mouthed rant.

Their behaviour - pinching belongings and towels - led to the former jockey and Crissy Rock being sent off to spend the night in the jungle dungeon after they failed to identify the traitors in the camp.

As he arrived back in camp, he stormed: "You don't steal, you don't lie. I'm seething, annoyed, these thieves get away with it and we do the time.

"I'm so f***ing angry. If it was just me, I'd have given you a thump and laughed about it. It's turned nasty, condoning stealing, you can't do this, condoning thieving - and how can this look good?"

The duo tried to explain they were aiming to win goodies, but Willie ranted on: "What you are doing to all the kids in England is condoning stealing. You don't steal, you don't lie, even in a game show. It is selfishness and I can't condone it."

McFly star Dougie admitted he felt "awful" about their exploits.

He was also chosen to take on the latest bushtucker trial to celebrate his 24th birthday and realised he had to do well to change the mood of the contestants on the ITV1 show.
