Cat Deeley has spoken of her relationship with Patrick Kielty, saying she has finally "seen the light".
The TV presenter, 35, also told US talk show host Kelly Ripa that the couple had been given a host of affectionate nicknames by their friends, the Daily Mirror reported
"I am no longer a single lady. I am dating a really old friend of mine. I have known him for 10 years," she said.
Asked why it took so long for them to get together, she said: "I don't know. Ladies just like to take their time. Now I have finally seen the light."
The LA-based So You Think You Can Dance host said of their nicknames: "People call us Pat-Cat or Catric.
"And there is another one which my friends have come up with which is called Caddy, because he is called Paddy."
Cat made a public appearance with presenter and comedian Patrick at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards last month.
The pair, who have been dating since the beginning of the year, worked together on the BBC's Fame Academy a decade ago.
