Actress Cate Blanchett says she would sleep with Viggo Mortensen and kill Orlando Bloom when asked to choose between her Lord of the Rings co-stars.

The actress was put in a tricky position by Andy Cohen for his US TV show Watch What Happens Live, after he asked her to choose between her Lord of the Rings co-stars. Given the option of walking down the aisle, having sex or getting rid of her leading men, Cate spared no time when delivering her decision.
“I’d s**g Viggo Mortensen,” she smiled in the clip from the show, which aired on Tuesday (13Oct15).
Cate was then left to deliver the fates of Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom, before eventually deciding to marry 34-year-old Elijah and kill off 38-year-old Orlando. The tough choices didn’t end there, as Cate was then pressed to select her next leading man for a steamy love scene from an array of Hollywood hunks she has previously worked with.
The 46-year-old star took time to consider her options, before dismissing newlywed George Clooney because it wasn’t “appropriate” and also discarding Alec Baldwin. “Alec just had a baby, not appropriate,” she explained, as she later ruled out Matt Damon because he “has a lot of kids”. After much deliberation, the beauty eventually plumped for her Truth co-star Robert Redford.
Cate admitted Leonardo DiCaprio was also a possibility, but hinted his playboy persona could prove a turn-off for her. “Leo’s not attached... but he is problematic,” she laughed.
Her hunky Aviator co-star’s name cropped up again when Cate was asked to select the biggest flirt or ladies’ man from the bunch. “The obvious choice is DiCaprio but they’ve all had their moments,” the Australian star quipped.
The games continued throughout the show, with Cate asked to reveal one of her oddest quirks. She finally admitted that she loves to eat pureed baby food, adding that she enjoys filling up on “anything pureed”.
