Catherine Zeta-Jones: I'm lonely
Catherine Zeta-Jones is feeling lonely without her husband Michael Douglas and their children.
The Oscar-winning actress attended the premiere of Red 2 in Los Angeles on Thursday night without her husband Michael Douglas. Catherine explained her movie star spouse is busy with work commitments, while the couple’s son Dylan and daughter Carys are also currently away from home.
"Michael's doing a movie on the East Coast with Diane Keaton, so he's working," she told ET Online at the red carpet event. "My children are actually at sleep-away camp, so I'm missing them desperately."
Michael is shooting the romantic comedy And So It Goes in Connecticut, he is also scheduled to film on locations in England and California.
Catherine went on to reveal she has a favourite hobby to keep her occupied while she is apart from her family.
The 43-year-old Welsh star has been filling her free time with creative tasks.
"I knit...It's been a [life-long] passion,” she smiled. “I actually went to my favourite store here yesterday in Los Angeles with my friend Edith, so I've got like about seven projects to take me through the summer."
Catherine smouldered in a black lace dress at yesterday’s premiere. She showed off her fabulous figure in a strapless corseted creation by Maria Lucia Hohan, which boasted a fishtail train.
The brunette was thrilled to land a role in the action sequel starring Bruce Willis and Dame Helen Mirren.
“When I first read the script she just jumped out to me,” Catherine said recently. “The character is so much fun because she's such a kick-ass - well, she's a spy with a sexy twist.
“Even wearing [high] heels and running through the streets of Paris has been fun for me.”
