Cee Lo Green denies sexual battery claim

Cee Lo Green

Cee Lo Green has allegedly been accused of sexual battery, but has denied any wrongdoing.

According to TMZ, police sources have revealed a woman recently filed a police report against the singer and he is now the target of a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) investigation.

The unidentified woman has apparently claimed the 38-year-old star sexually assaulted her. It is not known when and where the incident allegedly took place.

Detectives have reportedly visited a restaurant in Los Angeles where they interviewed several members of staff, including the manager.

Cee Lo - real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway - has told TMZ he has not been to the eatery for three months and has vehemently denied any untoward behaviour.

"Nothing ever happened there or anywhere else," he told the website.

No charges have been filed and the case is still believed to be in its early stages.

Sources close to the Bright Lights Bigger city star insist he has never displayed an aggressive streak.

"I have never seen Cee Lo act in a physical way toward anybody," the insider said.
