Chace Crawford has joked he'd need to test his parenting skills on a puppy before becoming a father.
The 26-year-old star is currently single and has discussed his plans for the future. Chace thinks he'd have to brush up on his baby skills before ever becoming a dad.
"I think I'd rather be a good father to a puppy first, then I'll figure it out from there. I need to find the right girl, though," he told British magazine more!
"I'm an uncle for the first time, which is very exciting. It's nice to experience that - and be able to hand the baby back!"
Chace is starring in What to Expect When You're Expecting, alongside Anna Kendrick. The pair play old flames Marco and Rosie in the upcoming comedy, with Rosie ending up pregnant after they have sex on a car bonnet.
The Gossip Girl star has laughed off the risqué scene.
"Well, there's a first time for everything, I guess..." he teased, when asked if the experience was new to him.
"Yes, first time and she's pregnant!"
