Chace Crawford: I've lost my dignity

Chace Crawford

Chace Crawford has joked he lost his "dignity" while starring in Gossip Girl.

The American actor claims to have misplaced it during the five years he has spent filming the TV series. The 27-year-old heartthrob explained he will try and reclaim his self respect before saying a final goodbye to the Gossip Girl cast.

"I'm gonna look for my dignity," Chace joked to Us Weekly magazine. "My dignity is somewhere on set. I think it happened around season two. Leading into season three, it was all out the window."

The final instalment of the hit drama will premiere in the US next week. Chace revealed he will take home some souvenirs of his time as Nate Archibald when he departs.

"I would take some of those suits if I could," he explained. "I'm gonna try and steal some badass ashtrays, if I can fit them in my coat pocket."

As well as missing the wardrobe his character Nate sported in the series, Chace confessed he will also miss the make-up ladies. He explained that they helped transform him into the Hollywood hunk he is known as today.

"I saw them for, like, an hour every day," he explained. "I talked to them about my life problems. Some were like a therapist. I'm gonna miss those girls."
