Channing Tatum to make ‘special’ Oscars appearance
Channing Tatum is confirmed to make a “special” appearance at the Academy Awards later this month.
The Hollywood hunk is set to make his debut on the Academy Awards stage on February 24.
Charlize Theron, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Daniel Radcliffe were also confirmed today as other famous faces who will take part in the ceremony.
"We are quite excited to have Charlize, Chan, Joe and Dan join us on the show," producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron gushed in a statement.
"We are happy to feature them as special guests in our production."
It will be the first Oscars appearance for Magic Mike hunk Channing, former Harry Potter star Daniel and (500) Days of Summer heartthrob Joseph.
All men have been keeping busy, with Daniel filming Allen Ginsberg biopic Kill Your Darlings, while Joseph has starred in movies such as Looper and Lincoln.
Channing can next be seen alongside Rooney Mara, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones in drama Side Effects.
Charlize has more Oscars experience, having picked up an Academy Award for her role in Monster.
She also received a nomination for her part in North Country.
The actress has starred in recent films Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman.
The newly-announced celebrities will join an ever-growing list of big names on the day, which already includes Meryl Streep and Mark Wahlberg.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Oscar-nominated Adele, as well as Justin Timberlake and Barbra Streisand.
