Charlie Sheen has apparently offered to "mentor" troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan.
The Anger Management star, who has had his fair share of controversy, admitted he feels a certain affinity with Lindsay and is on hand if she ever needs advice.
The actor, who worked with Li-Lo on Scary Movie 5, told TMZ: "I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not."
Charlie has offered Lindsay a helping hand before. Last year he helped pay her tax bill and earlier this month it emerged that he helped to get a dress for her to wear to a celebrity event. It was later reported that when Li-Lo returned the dress, it was half its original length because it had ripped during her night out, and a stylist pal had helped her cut off the torn part.
Charlie told the gossip site: "She can continue to hang out with her dress-shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey."
He continued: "If she listens, she'll win. If she doesn't, that's on her."
