Smiling broadly as she poses for the camera in an array of colourful dresses, Christine Bleakley shows few signs of any wedding nerves.

The former Daybreak presenter appears at ease as she is photographed in a series of stunning burnt orange and cerulean blue designer dresses for a magazine interview.

The Newtownards presenter has been dating Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard for nearly three years. The couple got engaged last summer but have yet to set a date despite intense speculation over when and where the nuptials will be.

But in an interview for Hello! magazine, the 33-year-old claimed she is taking a back seat when it comes to arrangements for the big day with Lampard planning to take care of everything.

“It will be Frank who plans the wedding more than me, 100%,” she revealed.

“You know that show Don’t Tell the Bride on BBC3? When the groom goes off and does everything and the bride just turns up? That’s my idea of heaven.

“Maybe ours won’t happen to that extent, but he’s very excited about it. I’ll leave everything up to him.”

Details of the couple’s wedding are a closely-guarded secret.

They have still to decide on a venue, with Christine admitting they may not tie the knot in Northern Ireland.

“There are pros and cons for 101 reasons. But we certainly haven’t confirmed a place, unlike some of the stories I’ve been reading,” she adds — referring to claims Lampard had offered to pay one couple £100,000 to swap their big day at the Galgorm Resort and Spa in Co Antrim.

“It’s just complete nonsense. There are worse things that could be written about you, but still, it’s not ideal,” Christine added.

She has not yet thought about a wedding dress and revealed they have still to set the date for their nuptials.

According to Christine, it is down to Lampard’s football commitments. A summer date was out because of Euro 2012 while the busy Christmas football schedule also affects a festive wedding.

But she concedes it will “probably not” be this year.

Christine also revealed that she is likely to be Mrs Lampard after the wedding.

“I don’t think he’d like it any other way,” she said. “He’s traditional, let’s put it that way.”

Although she would like to have a family, Christine is in no hurry.

“If you’re lucky enough for it to happen then that’s perfect,” she adds.

“But I’m not 23, so I wouldn’t obsess about it.”

In a separate interview, Christine said she is in no hurry to have children because she is so busy with Frank’s girls Luna (6) and Isla (5).

The footballer has two children with his former fiancee Elen Rivas.

“Our time is consumed with Frank's girls,” Christine said.

Meanwhile, the television star has taken to Twitter to address reports she could have been exposed to asbestos.

It follows claims that “elevated levels” of the dust were found at Bloomfield Collegiate where she went to school.

Christine angrily dismissed reports that she was “petrified” about falling ill. “Who are these ‘sources' who apparently know me and what I'm thinking? All total rubbish,” she said.
