Cheryl scared about X Factor secrets being revealed - report

Cheryl is said to be so concerned about her X Factor secrets getting out that she has reportedly made her estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini sign a "vice-like" confidentiality agreement.

Cheryl has reportedly forced her estranged husband to sign a confidentiality agreement, as she fears he will reveal secrets about her time on The X Factor.

The 33-year-old singer made a return to the panel of the ITV talent show in 2014 and continued as a judge for the 2015 series too. However, she announced earlier this year (16) that she will not be back for the next series, which instead sees Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger as judges.

Now it has been claimed Cheryl is so concerned about her ex Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini leaking details of her time on the series that she has insisted he sign a "vice-like" agreement preventing him from doing so.

While it's unclear exactly what secrets Cheryl is so worried about being made public, it was rumoured on last year's (15) show that she had fallen out with her fellow judge Rita Ora.

"JB just wanted to have the freedom to speak but he knew that he couldn’t fight against Cheryl’s lawyers," a source told The Sun newspaper. "They are too powerful and too expensive. He doesn’t have the money for a long drawn out legal battle and Cheryl is adamant she doesn’t want him to speak about their relationship and about X Factor.

"The agreement he has had to sign is vice-like. It is watertight and if he speaks out about their marriage or anything he will be in front of a judge.”

The report comes after it was claimed restaurateur Jean-Bernard was considering writing a tell-all book, after flying to Los Angeles earlier this year (16) to meet with a publisher.

Cheryl and Jean-Bernard split in January (16) after an 18-month marriage following a whirlwind romance. The singer is now dating One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne, with the pair making their relationship even more official by buying a chihuahua dog together.
