Chloë Moretz: Brooklyn takes risks
Chloë Grace Moretz is safety conscious when she skateboards as she doesn't want to break anything.
The 17-year-old actress and 15-year-old son of superstar couple David and Victoria Beckham have been spotted hanging out lately. There are rumours the pair are dating but they haven't been confirmed.
The friends were spotted enjoying some skateboarding together in Los Angeles recently. Brooklyn and his family lived there while his father played for LA Galaxy and he and Chloë got to know each other as they went to the same SoulCycle class.
"I don't know!" she laughed to Company magazine when asked who is the better skateboarder. "I mean, he had a pretty small skateboard, and I had more of a long board. I think he's a risk taker, like a typical guy, weaving in and out of people. I'm a 'safety boarder' - I don't want to break any bones!"
Although the actress made friends with Brooklyn in LA, she has many other British pals she met while in the UK. She's spent a great deal of time in the country for work and has formed a bond with several youngsters.
"I lived in London for sooo long when I was filming Hugo and Kick-Ass. I've known Raff [aka Rafferty Law, Jude Law and Sadie Frost's son] since I was like, 14. And Kick-Ass screenwriter Jane Goldman's daughter, Honey Ross, is a good friend of mine, too," she explained.
While her life sounds glamorous, Chloë is just like any other teenager in many ways. She loves social media just like her friends, although she doesn't at all understand the trend of self-taken portraits.
"You can look at my account – I hate posting selfies. It’s just not my thing – it’s, like, ridiculous," she said.
Chloë understands why many people her age like Twitter too, but it's looking at photos people have taken she likes best.
"I love Instagram because you can see the world through your favourite star's eyes, which is super fun. Especially compared to Twitter, which is usually run by someone's publicist," she said.
"Beyoncé posts some really good stuff! I think she has to be my Number One. I also follow Beautiful Destinations - they just post all these amazing vacation photos."
As far as TV goes she used to enjoy Pretty Little Liars, but recently has become more interested in Netflix original show House of Cards.
