Chris Pine: Steak's my secret weapon

Chris Pine

Chris Pine likes to woo the ladies by cooking them a tasty steak in the kitchen.

The 32-year-old is rumoured to have recently split with his partner of a year Dominique Piek.

The actor shared what he likes to rustle up in the kitchen to woo potential suitors.

“Steak: Sear the meat to create a few nice lines," he smiled to Men's Health magazine. "Know how long to grill it so you only have to flip it once.”

The heartthrob has no problem attracting women's attention now. However, he was a social outcast in high school who never won female attention.

"Just looking at a girl felt awkward," he explained. "When you feel like an oddball, it never really leaves you. Even now, I’m better around people who are uncomfortable with themselves, the misfits.”

The Star Trek actor appears on the cover of the men's magazine showing off his toned arms. The star exercises regularly because it makes him feel and look good.

“I work out because that’s my job. What I enjoy about it, beyond the vanity, is the Zen of it," he proclaimed. "I like getting out of my head: one great way is to sweat your face off. I appreciate that if you’re thinking of anything else, you’re not working intensely enough.”

Despite his hard man physique, Chris has a soft interior. He often sheds a tear, and cries so often he can't remember the exact time when.

“I cry all the time - at work, at the shrink’s, with my lady..." he admitted. "The Notebook killed me. Up destroyed me. Up was like the animated Amour.”
