Chris Pine apparently likes how down to earth his rumoured love interest Vail Bloom is.

The 34-year-old actor has been spotted out with actress Vail Bloom on several occasions, most recently having lunch in Los Angeles where the pair put on a public display of affection.

Vail has made a name for herself on the small screen in shows such as The Young and the Restless, for which she bagged an outstanding young actress nomination at the 2008 Daytime Emmys. She's currently appearing in reality show Vanderpump Rules, but that doesn't change Chris' outlook on her.

"Chris is interested in Vail because, while she may be on a reality show, she's really down-to-earth and doesn't act fame hungry," a source told America's Star magazine.

However it may not be a long-term romance on the cards right now. Chris has previously been linked to the likes of Audrina Patridge and Zoë Kravitz and an insider added that he might not be ready to settle down right now, which could be down to work.

Having been busy filming projects such as Z for Zachariah, set to come out later this year, Chris might not have the time on his hands for romance. But he's been vocal about love in the past, sharing advice his mother gave him about being in a relationship.

"My mom always told me to take my elbows off the table, so that if I ever had dinner with a queen, I would know how to eat properly," he told Cosmopolitan magazine. "But she also taught me basic things about being a gentleman, like opening car doors.

"Especially in Los Angeles, I think people lose those small gestures that harken back to a different time but are still mutually appreciated by men and women."
