Chris Pratt is currently enjoying a "dream summer" with wife Anna Faris and their son Jack after 14 months straight of shooting.

Chris Pratt loves nothing more than talking about himself.

The 37-year-old actor is currently on the promo trail for upcoming movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and appeared at Comic-Con in San Diego, California on Saturday (23Jul16). While many actors don't enjoy the interviews and press tours that come with their job, Chris has never found it an issue.

"This part is really gruelling for a lot of people, I don't find it to be super gruelling," Chris told People. "It's kind of a natural fit for me, I really like talking about myself.

"I was a door-to-door salesman for a long time, so walking into a roomful of strangers and talking about something I am enthusiastic about is a lot easier than walking into a room full of strangers and talking about something I don't care about. Luckily I'm really enthusiastic about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 so it makes it really easy."

As well as Guardians, Chris also has another two projects due for release in the near future - Passengers and The Magnificent Seven. Shooting all three of the films meant he was away from home for 14 months, so the actor is now enjoying a well-deserved break with his wife Anna Faris and their son Jack, three.

"It's nice not to have time to myself but to have time with my family," he added. "It's been really great and a very much a needed thing so we're thrilled."

Chris has gone from a television star most well known for his role in Parks and Recreation to a bona fide movie star, thanks to movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.

His next films are sure to further his fame, and Chris is looking forward to them hitting cinemas.

Of the three movies in the pipeline, Chris said: "I think you should be equally excited about all three of them. They're all different and they're all great."
