Chris Pratt: 'My son thinks acting is stupid'
The Passengers star took part in a Reddit Ask Me Anything segment where he also talked about his wife Anna Faris.
Chris Pratt's four-year-old son Jack isn't a fan of his job, labelling acting "stupid".
The 37-year-old made the confession during a Reddit Ask Me Anything segment, admitting Jack, whose mother is Anna Faris, thought he was a firefighter. "He knows I’m an actor," Pratt wrote. "But he thinks it’s kind of stupid. haha! I suppose he’s right!!!"
He also heaped praise on wife Anna, telling fans she was his "favourite actress" and adding he was keen to do a movie with her one day. And when asked who he preferred, Anna's character in Scary Movie, or her character from The House Bunny, Pratt gave a very sweet response.
"Wow. that’s a good question,” he wrote. "Like a kiss marry kill thing? Trick question. I’d marry and kiss them all. And I did!!!"
Pratt recently opened up about Jack, revealing he's a natural behind the camera.
"Jack has been on set to visit me on every movie I’ve done since he’s been alive," he told Entertainment Tonight. "He’s getting really comfortable with the idea of sitting behind the monitors. He’s like a little director!"
And Jack has become so accustomed to Hollywood life he's started making some diva-like requests. "There was a moment when he (Jack) was behind the monitors where the director and the producer sit, watching what’s happening on camera," Pratt shared. "He had his cans (headphones) on and he was looking through his little glasses at the monitor, and he just said, 'Can I get a coconut water?'
"And he wasn’t like talking to anyone necessarily, which is totally terrible behaviour that we do all the time, where you just like throw a random request into the ether and expect someone to deliver it cause we’re totally spoiled brat baby actors."
Pratt was also full of jokes while describing his naked scenes with co-star Jennifer Lawrence in their new movie Passengers. "It's a really deep mental preparation needed to show your butt on camera," he deadpanned.
