Chrissy Teigen 'an anti-bride'

Chrissy Teigen

John Legend's fiancée Chrissy Teigen is trying her best "not to be an annoying bride."

John and the Sports Illustrated beauty became engaged over the Christmas holidays while they were vacationing in the Maldives.

As the wedding planning progresses, Chrissy is intent on maintaining aplomb throughout.

"I feel like the anti-bride, because I watch all those shows and I hate them," she told Us Weekly magazine. "I go out of my way to try not to be too annoying my biggest goal in life is to not be annoying about being a bride."

The 26-year-old stunner admits that there is one task in particular that she dreads.

"I love dress shopping and I love talking about the wedding food," Chrissy shared. "That's what makes me happy. If you tell me to do a guest list, I cry. I hate it."

Chrissy has decided to don a Monique Lhuillier gown.

"[It's] simple [and] stunning. I had been looking at online for so long since the day I got engaged," Chrissy revealed. "It's so beautiful. I loved it. That was my excuse for having not waited. I don't know what part [of the wedding] it will be worn for, but it will be worn and I'm very excited."

The couple won't be rushing their nuptials.

"We're going to take our time with [the rest of the planning]," Chrissy said. "We've been together for so long. Hopefully I won't hate him by then!"

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
