Chrissy Teigen has excitedly announced she and husband John Legend are to have a daughter.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting a little girl.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model announced they were expecting their first child together in October (15), not long after Chrissy admitted she was struggling to fall pregnant. And now the couple have even more to look forward to as the 30-year-old beauty revealed she and John are to become parents to a daughter in an Instagram photo caption for her cover of Vogue Thailand. In the snap Chrissy is seen resting a hand on her head while gazing into the camera, with white sand and the blue sea in the background.

“So proud and honored to have shot the cover of Vogue Thailand! Special to me for so many being I am SO PROUD to be Thai, so excited to have shot a Vogue cover (a dream, of course) annnnd (sic) a couple minutes after this shot, John and I learned we were having our little baby girl!” she wrote to fans, before listing everyone who helped with the stunning photoshoot.

She and her musical husband have truly got into the festive spirit ahead of Christmas Day on Friday (25Dec15). Earlier this week (beg21Dec15) Chrissy posted a photo of John carrying a enormous circle of cheese, while she plants a kiss on his cheek. A keen cook, Chrissy shared her plans for the delicacy.

“John got me my lifetime dream for Christmas! A cheese wheel to dump pasta and risotto in for years to come! My tableside serving game is bout to be liiiiiit (sic)! Heading out to relax with the fam (sic) now woohoo!” she wrote excitedly.

Luckily for John there hasn’t been any rushing to the shops in the early hours of the morning to cater to his wife’s pregnancy cravings. In November (15) he admitted her choice of foods aren’t much different to what she normally eats, only that she’s tucking into a little more than she used to.
