Chrissy Teigen lives out fantasy as she reenacts Spider-Man kiss with John Legend
Chrissy Teigen enjoyed a gender role reversal by donning Spider-Man's iconic blue and red costume herself, while John played the role of Mary Jane Watson.
John Legend made wife Chrissy Teigen's fantasy come true as the couple reenacted the famous upside down Spider-Man kiss on Lip Sync Battle.
Chrissy acts as co-host on the U.S. hit show, which features celebrities lip syncing their way through a performance of their choice before the crowd, which decides who should take home the prize.
On Sunday night's (07May17) episode, her husband John got involved and Chrissy enjoyed a gender role reversal by donning Spider-Man's iconic blue and red costume herself, while John played the role of love interest Mary Jane Watson.
As Chrissy dropped upside down from the ceiling, John met her at the bottom and pulled her in for a passionate smooch - recreating the scene made famous by Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire in the original 2002 Spider-Man movie.
"I just wanted to see if it's possible that I live out one of my biggest fantasies," Chrissy smiled after removing her mask.
Chrissy shared a preview of the episode on Sunday afternoon alongside the caption: "Yes, I do my own stunts".
The reason for the Spider-Man reference was that the stars of upcoming movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, Zendaya and Tom Holland, were the competitors on Sunday night's show.
Zendaya performed Bruno Mars' 2016 hit 24K Magic as one of her performances on the programme, while Tom took on Rihanna's Umbrella.
Sunday's Lip Sync Battle aired after Chrissy hit headlines for comments she made about having plastic surgery.
During an event celebrating her new make-up palette with Becca Cosmetics last week, Chrissy told beauty editors everything about her face was "fake." She reportedly pointed to her forehead, nose, and lips as she made the comments, before adding she had also had liposuction on her armpits.
But after her remarks were picked up by news outlets worldwide, Chrissy took to her Twitter page to insist she was joking at the event.
