Christine Lampard would not turn nose up at plastic surgery
TV presenter Christine Lampard celebrated a year of wedded bliss to her footballing husband Frank Lampard yesterday - but suggested she might need a Kardashian-style nose job.
The celebrity couple made their vows on December 19 last year in a suitably showbiz ceremony in front of family and famous friends at St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge, London.
Posting pictures of the happy day on social media yesterday, the Newtownards native wrote: "A year ago today I married this amazing and gorgeous man!
"I couldn't love him more. Here's to many more years together."
Despite her glamorous looks, Christine (37) - nee Bleakley - admitted on ITV's Loose Woman that she still longs to keep up with the Kardashians.
Discussing celebrity facelifts with the show's panel, she revealed: "I'd change my nose. I'm obsessed with these tiny little button noses. Kardashians have all got it - and they weren't born with it." She added: "We all know a lot of them have had bits and pieces done and some I think look really, really well, actually."
The presenter was also surprised with an emotional video message from her husband, who recently finished his two-year stint playing for New York City FC.
"Hello Mrs Lampard, I'm so proud to be your husband," he said.
"We've had an amazing first year and I can't wait to have more.
"Now hurry up with those Loose Women, I've got a nice glass of Champagne waiting for you."
The audience were also told how Lampard finally plucked up the nerve to propose.
"So we were on this beach in Malibu," she said.
"It was really isolated and we were just walking.
"He'd necked a few glasses of rosé, more than he should've done, and just asked me. There was no getting down on one knee.
"At that moment, it was like there was no one else in the world, it was very romantic and simple. It's just those little tiny gestures."
