Claire Danes is proud of her ability to get the "dance party started".
The 33-year-old plays highly-strung Carrie Mathison in Homeland, who works hard to save America from potential terrorist attacks.
However, the actress admits that in real life she is great at letting her hair down.
"I can get a dance party started pretty much anywhere and anytime - and I am quite proud of that," she told British magazine Grazia.
"I'm shameless and I'm motivated in this cause. I love to dance. My favourite songs to get everyone dancing are anything by Missy Elliot, Jay-Z or Beyoncé. I love Alicia Keys' Empire State of Mind too."
The actress has received recognition for her role as Carrie, having been nominated for the best TV actress Golden Globe Award today. Yesterday, she picked up the same nod when the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award nominations were announced.
Claire is currently expecting her first child with her husband Hugh Dancy.
The pretty star admits being an expectant mother means she has slightly calmed her dancing ways.
"But these days I'm not on form because I'm pregnant, so I'm not doing much dancing," she confessed.
Hugh and Claire married in 2009 and announced they are expecting a baby in July.
Luckily the pregnant Stardust actress has found new ways to have fun.
"A couple of weeks ago I went on a date night with Hugh, who I hadn't seen in a long time because of work," she divulged.
