Claire Danes has a hidden talent for "making puns".
The actress is addicted to making jokes out of life's situations.
The Homeland star fears her friends find her irritating because she is constantly finding two meanings for things.
"I spend a lot of my life making puns. I'm a great abuser of this. It's an impulsive thing and very annoying [for my friends]," Claire told the British edition of Grazia magazine. "But I can't help it, I pun way too literally and I don't edit them. I pun about everything and on a daily basis."
Claire worries she irritates her loved ones by constantly critiquing herself. The star wishes she could be more relaxed and accepting of her personality rather than over analysing everything.
"I'm very, very hard on myself. I'm not being obnoxious, I am just excessively self-critical. It has served me well in a lot of ways, but I think it's not all that efficient and there are better ways to be creative and productive," Claire confessed. "You should just accept and be happy with yourself."
