Clint Eastwood's daughter fears award fall
Clint Eastwood's daughter is worried about "falling over in a ball gown" after being named Miss Golden Globe 2013.
Francesca Eastwood has recently been named as the person who will escort the award winners on and off stage at next year's high-profile ceremony.
The 19-year-old daughter of legendary actor Clint Eastwood and actress Frances Fisher admitted she is feeling nervous about her role in the Golden Globes Awards, despite previously attending the show when she was just eight.
"I'm a little worried, maybe, about falling over or doing something like that," Francesca revealed to People. "I do not want to wear a ball gown, but I think that really fancy dresses are reserved for the nominees. I'm planning on something simple that won't make me fall over."
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that Francesca was their chosen Miss Golden Globe 2013 earlier this week.
At a party held to honour her appointment at Cecconi's in West Hollywood on Thursday night, Francesca admitted her famous father hasn't yet given her any advice about working in the entertainment industry.
However, Francesca is already celebrity savvy, having starred in her first film when she was just two years old, as well as recently featuring in the reality TV show Mrs. Eastwood & Company, that focuses on her mother's career.
"My dad's advice is more father-daughter advice, and it's not necessarily acting advice," she revealed. "It's more like, 'Always believe in yourself,' and, 'Don't get caught up in the wrong crowd.'"
