Clooney's 'wedding will include Brad and Jen'

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney

George Clooney's wedding will reportedly see Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's representative "stage planning" how they should be around each other.

Hollywood's hottest bachelor is engaged to British lawyer Amal Alamuddin, with the pair thought to be preparing to exchange vows in Italy in September. George apparently wants all his friends there, including Brad and Jennifer. The pair ended their marriage in 2005, with Brad debuting his relationship with Angelina soon after.

"Brad and Jen's publicists have worked really hard to avoid awkward run-ins over the years, but now they're figuring out the best way to stage manage George's wedding," a source told British magazine Heat. "George is close to Jen and Justin [Theroux, her fiancé] and spent New Year with them in Mexico. He thinks it's about time Jen just does the inevitable and sees Brad and Ange face-to-face."

Although Brad and Jennifer have both claimed they are still friends and are in touch, they haven't been seen together for years. The actress apparently knows she'll be unable to avoid this meeting, but that doesn't mean she isn't terrified about it.

"As soon as George announced his engagement, Jen knew it would mean her finally having to face her fears. She's working herself up into a frenzy about it," the insider said.

Brad and George are good friends who have appeared in many movies, such as the Ocean's franchise, together. Brad was widely tipped to be his friend's choice for best man, but this week it was claimed Matt Damon will do the honours.

“A lot of people thought Brad was a certainty to be George’s best man as they have been such good friends for years. But he is probably even closer to Matt,” a source explained to British newspaper The Sun.

“Besides, many years ago, during one drunken night together, George made a promise to Matt that he would make him his best man if he ever got married – so Matt called to claim his prize.”
