Cheryl Cole could be heading for a Christmas number one as she makes a bid for the book charts after signing a deal for her tell-all autobiography.
The singer has signed a lucrative deal with publisher HarperCollins which says it expects her to top the bestseller lists.
Cheryl will publish her book in October in time for the all-important Christmas market which is the literary world's biggest moneyspinner.
The book comes 10 years after she rose to fame, landing a place in Girls Aloud through ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals. The book is expected to tackle her marriage to Chelsea star Ashley Cole, from whom she is now divorced, as well as her brief tenure as a judge on US X Factor, from which she was dropped by show boss Simon Cowell.
The book firm said: "For the first time, Cheryl will tell her full story in her own words."
Carole Tonkinson, the publisher for Harper Non-Fiction, said: "Cheryl Cole is the nation's sweetheart. We are absolutely thrilled to be publishing her story.
"Cheryl's an amazing woman with a capacity to inspire everyone. She emerges from every challenge stronger and with more grace and good humour and beauty - inner and outer.
"We're still pinching ourselves that Cheryl chose us as her publisher and we're going to do everything in our power to make this the Christmas Number One."
Cole said earlier this year that she had thought about writing her story after being asked to sign so many unauthorised books by her fans.
"I see these girls that say, 'This is literally like a bible for me - I read it and I hang off every word it says', and I have had nothing to do with it," she said. "I don't have the heart to say this book is almost made up."
