Collette cries for kids
Toni Collette loves when her children are pleased, so much so that she tears up.
The actress is mother to two-year-old son Arlo, and five-year-old daughter, Sage, with husband Dave Galafassi.
She gets overcome with emotion when she reflects on the perfect life she is able to give her brood.
“I took my daughter to see the musical Cinderella yesterday, and she loved it,” she told People magazine. “Just seeing her overwhelmed with excitement made me get teary.”
The 40-year-old Australian star currently resides in the Big Apple and the family loves it there.
She confessed that simple things in life like being able to see a gorgeous sunset are things her unit are grateful for.
‘Pretty much every night since I moved to New York in July, we have the most incredible view,” she explained about enjoying a beautiful sundown. “It tends to be a moment when I’m taking a breath and the kids have gone to bed. It just makes me smile.”
Toni’s relatives are her pride and joy and the star does whatever she can to make her little ones grin.
However recently they have been getting her to perform tiring tasks.
“For the last couple of months my kids have been big on me being a monster. I generally jump and growl and pretend to eat them,” she shared. “I can only do it for so long, but they would do it for hours on end.”
Despite being a doting mother, Collette confesses she can be a naughty adult at times.
She has to be careful what she says around her youngsters as she has a potty mouth.
“I find it quite satisfying when used appropriately and in context, and [I swear] quite often.” Toni added.
