Marion Cotillard is set to be a mum for the first time.

A spokeswoman for the Oscar-winning actress confirmed the news that she and her boyfriend of three years, actor-director Guillaume Canet, are expecting a baby.

The 35-year-old French actress worked with Guillaume on the 2003 French film Love Me if You Dare.

Marion picked up an Academy Award in 2008 for her portrayal of troubled singer Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. Her other credits include Inception, Nine and Public Enemies.

The mum-to-be is also said to be starring alongside Robert Pattinson and Paul Giamatti in David Cronenberg's upcoming film Cosmopolis.
