Fearne Cotton will be part of the team presenting the BBC's coverage of the royal wedding, it has been announced.

Also joining Huw Edwards, who will anchor the coverage on BBC1, are Fiona Bruce, Sophie Raworth, Edith Bowman, BBC Sport's Jake Humphrey, Chris Hollins and the One Show's Alex Jones.

Radio coverage will include Radio 4's Edward Stourton and James Naughtie, Radio 5 Live's Victoria Derbyshire and Richard Bacon and Radio 1's Vernon Kay broadcasting on the day.

Deputy Director General Mark Byford, who is overseeing the BBC's plans, said: "With such a strong line-up of presenters across TV, radio and online, the BBC's in-depth coverage of the royal wedding will bring the event to life for viewers and listeners across the land, helping the UK to celebrate the big day."

The ceremony on April 29 is expected to draw large audiences, with the BBC, ITV and Sky all competing for viewers.

Eamonn Holmes will present coverage of the royal wedding on Sky News and ITV has announced Julie Etchingham will be co-presenting its coverage with Phillip Schofield.
