Courteney Cox wants to be "a family forever" despite her split from David Arquette.

The pair separated in October 2010 after 11 years of marriage and they have seven-year-old daughter Coco together.

Although they are no longer romantically linked, Courteney loves David and is looking forward to their family's future.

"He's just hysterical. He's my best friend," Courteney told People magazine. "There's almost no one I'd rather be in the same room with. We're going to be a family forever."

Courteney and David jointly own production company Coquette Productions and work together frequently. Although Courteney respects David's professional decisions, she doesn't think that she could follow in his footsteps on Dancing with the Stars.

"No, [I could never be on DTWS like he was]," she said. "Putting yourself out there, the nerves, I could never do it. I can't even play tennis doubles. I have performance anxiety!"

Courteney doesn't feel anxious to perform in other scenarios. Her daughter Coco is a breeze to entertain.

"[I embarrass her] every day!" Courteney gushed. "I picked her up from school yesterday and started singing, and she said, 'Mum, you're embarrassing me!' I said, 'Coco, I've done more embarrassing things on TV than this! It's okay.' "
