Courtney Love looks ladylike as she attends Glorious Ladies' Day at Goodwood

Courtney Love shocked punters at Goodwood race track - by turning up in a demure dress and matching fascinator.

The former grunge wild child attended Ladies' Day at Glorious Goodwood wearing an elegant floral Miu Miu dress, white gloves and feathered fascinator.

The Hole frontwoman, who was married to late rock star Kurt Cobain, joined the likes of Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Claire Sweeney at the racing event.

Sara Cox and Burberry model Edie Campbell were also there to take part in a celebrity ladies' race, which Edie won.

The race raised funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
