Simon Cowell has admitted he misses the UK X Factor.
The TV mogul has been absent from the judges' panel as he concentrates on his US version of the show.
But he told 5 News: "I do miss doing it here."
Asked if he would return, he said: "I don't think this year but I wouldn't rule out another year."
Simon said the Olympics would feature in one of the X Factor shows, but refused to give details.
"I think we're going to do something around the Olympics on one of the live shows so they're all welcome," he said of the Paralympic and Olympic stars.
"We like having heroes on our shows."
