Craig David buys treats for hungover hen party

Craig David's admirers are now even bigger fans of the singer.

Craig David surprised a hungover hen party by treating them to muffins and soft drinks at a Spanish airport on Monday (01May17).

The 7 Days hitmaker just so happened to be on hand when holidaymakers Sarah Millican, Sarah Kershaw and their friends were readying themselves to fly home after visiting Spanish resort Marbella for someone's pre-wedding celebrations.

Feeling a little worse for wear before their flight, Millican and her pals were taken aback when singer Craig bought them food and beverages to help perk them up.

Posting photos of themselves holding the treats, and posing with the star, Millican wrote on Twitter, "When u meet @CraigDavid at the airport & he buys u muffins & Sprite for your hangover. Lovely, genuine guy. Thanks (sic)", complete with a kiss face emoji.

Fellow traveller Kershaw also shared a photo with the singer, captioning it: "@SarahMillican1 @CraigDavid The muffins were great and did the trick".

Craig quickly replied telling the duo: "My pleasure. Hope you're feeling better.”

His fans appeared to be unable to handle the musician's generosity, with one quizzing him on why he's "such an angel" while another admitted she'd faint if she came face to face with the singer.

By the looks of his social media updates the 35-year-old Brit has been keeping busy recently with various trips abroad and recording new music to follow his 2016 record Following My Intuition, which boasted single Ain't Giving Up.

Just a few days ago Craig uploaded a photo of himself in the studio on Instagram, teasing fans with the picture caption: "Not too long til we're back here #Mastering #NewMusic".
