Craig David's All We Needed will be the official single for this year's BBC Children In Need.

It caps a comeback year for 35-year-old, which has included a number one album, Following My Intuition, featuring the charity track.

He was also named best male act at the prestigious Mobo awards last week.

All profits from the single will go to the charity, with a minimum of 50p from each sale.

Dedicating his track to the cause, David tweeted that he was "honoured" by the decision.

He wrote: "Honoured to be part of such a great charity. Now let's raise as much as we can."

The Children in Need telethon will be broadcast on BBC One at 7.30pm on Friday, November 18.
