Tom Cruise made it his Mission to attend Ladies' Day at Glorious Goodwood in Chichester.

The Hollywood heartthrob took time out of his filming schedule to attend the annual event in Chichester, West Sussex, where he presented supermodel Edie Campbell with the Magnolia Cup for her winning streak at the Ladies' Race on the third day.

"My bum, and Tom Cruise's face. @Goodwood_Races after See the Storm won the Magnolia Cup for me," tweeted Edie after receiving her trophy.

The Mission: Impossible star, 52, also mingled with royal show jumper Zara Phillips and posed for selfies with admirers as well as took pictures with Lord and Lady March.

Tom, who stars in sci-fi action Edge Of Tomorrow, received a special welcome, with the Band of The Yorkshire Regiment playing the theme tune to Mission: Impossible on his arrival.

He also enjoyed a flutter on one of the races and got animated as he cheered on his horse from the stands.
