Cuba Gooding Jr. 'no longer wanted'

Cuba Gooding Jr.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is not being pursued by police anymore after meeting with officers today.

The 44-year-old Jerry Maguire star had an arrest warrant issued against him yesterday by the New Orleans Police Department.

A complaint was made that the Oscar winner shoved a female bartender in the early hours of Tuesday morning during an altercation.

But the actor's rep told TMZ that Cuba is working towards resolving the situation.

"There is no warrant," the spokesperson said. "Mr. Gooding, his representative and the New Orleans authorities met this morning and are moving swiftly to resolve this misunderstanding."

The bartender had apparently told authorities that Cuba became irate when several bar patrons started to take his picture and he was asked to leave when he became angry.

Cuba is currently in New Orleans filming The Butler with Oprah Winfrey.

Virgo:

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
