Cumberbatch ‘sent email wedding invites’
Benedict Cumberbatch and his future wife Sophie Hunter are said to have sent out their wedding invitations online in a rush.
The Imitation Game actor announced his engagement to theatre director Sophie Hunter in November and the couple are currently expecting their first child together.
And it’s claimed they are preparing to marry within months.
“The invitations have gone out already which is very quick,” a source told UK newspaper The Mirror.
“It's shocked a few people but they want their special day to happen before they have the baby.
“The details have been sent out in an email rather than a paper invitation as time is of the essence.”
Apparently the location of their nuptial ceremony is top secret and guests are barred from revealing where the event will be hosted.
Despite the precautions, the wedding is expected to be amazing.
"They're planning the perfect day,” the insider said. “Life couldn’t be much better for them at the moment."
Benedict previously revealed his mother was keen for him to start a family.
Following the engagement news, People told him fans were waiting for news of a “Cumber-baby” and he replied with glee.
“Oh my God. Well, my mother is also waiting for Cumber-babies,” Benedict told the outlet.
The Sherlock star became betrothed to Sophie after dating for a year.
Benedict is having a wonderful 2015 so far, as the British thespian is up for an Academy Award for his work in The Imitation Game.
As his Hollywood career prospers, it’s claimed he and 36-year-old Sophie are living in the Venice Beach area of Los Angeles.
