Cyrus to ‘pick up ring soon’

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus reportedly will pick up her engagement ring from the repairman any day now and continues to discount rumours that her wedding to fiancé Liam Hemsworth is off.

The 20-year-old American actress-and-singer and the Australian 23-year-old actor became engaged last year.

Speculation is rife that the pair have hit a rough patch in their relationship and may have called off the wedding.

Miley has been seen in public without wearing her engagement ring fuelling rumours the couple decided to cut ties.

Apparently talk of breakup is all hearsay, as Miley was simply getting her band repaired.

"Miley's engagement ring was dropped off nine days ago to get fixed,” a source told X17 Online.

“Miley and Liam's wedding is not off. She should be getting the ring back soon.”

In response to a friend who discussed getting her engagement ring patched up, Miley took to Twitter to vent her anger about the controversy circulating around her about the issue.

"Ugh that's the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off.” Miley tweeted.

Miley and Liam met while shooting movie The Last Song together in 2009. They had an on/off relationship during 2010, before working out their differences and getting engaged June 2012.

Amidst rumours the actor has split from his fiancée Miley Cyrus Liam has spent time in a property in his home country of Australia, which was purchased by his parents late last year.

Reports suggested he was using the $1.6million home to deal with the supposed split, but friends say the gossip is ridiculous.
