Tom Daley has revealed landing his starring role in celebrity diving show Splash! was a dream come true.
The Olympic bronze medallist is a competition mentor on the ITV1 show and has also harboured hopes of making it in childrens' TV.
Asked about his career ambitions, Tom told Digital Spy: "2013 is going to be busy for me with Splash!. I always wanted to be a kids' TV presenter, but anything along those lines would be good.
"I am so glad that I get to do a Saturday night entertainment show; it's my dream."
Tom also said he and Katie Price's ex Leandro Penna - who had been due to appear on Splash! - helped each other meet ladies.
"We are good friends - me and Leo are quite close," he said.
"I study Spanish and he's working a lot on his English so we help each other out with the ladies."
