Daly lands a deal to pen novel
Tess Daly has signed a deal with a publisher to write her first novel, which she said will be "from the heart".
The Camera Never Lies, which will be published in October, is the story of an ex-model turned breakfast television presenter.
Strictly Come Dancing host Tess, an ex-model turned television presenter, said: "My novel is fast-paced and funny and filled with glamour and glitz.
"It's a strong woman's story written from the heart and I hope that comes through on the page."
The star, who is married to fellow presenter Vernon Kay, wrote an account of motherhood called The Baby Diaries last year.
That book came out around the time it emerged Vernon had sent explicit text messages to a string of women.
Vernon, who has two young daughters with his wife, later apologised on his Radio 1 show, telling his two million listeners he had been "foolish and stupid".
