Dancer covers up amid Ofcom probe
Britain's Got Talent left a little more to the imagination tonight as saucy dancer Beatrix Von Bourbon covered up in the face of an Ofcom investigation.
The burlesque dancer's previous routine drew dozens of complaints when she stripped to knickers, a corset, stockings and nipple tassels during her audition.
But the show's judges described her as tame tonight after she performed to soulful Beyonce track Fever in a golden camisole top and knickers.
Amanda Holden said: "I feel that your first audition was more sexy. Those little cami-knickers are just not the best colour and I just wanted to see more of you basically."
Alesha Dixon commented that the performance left her bored, while Simon Cowell said he did not think she would make it through to the final.
The tattooed performer peeled off a sleeveless wrap to reveal her underwear, but kept her back to the audience when she went topless.
Regulator Ofcom launched an investigation into her previous routine - broadcast on ITV1 last month - after more than 70 viewers claimed it was unsuitable for a family audience.
Von Bourbon is a dancer and fetish model who performs in lingerie and feathers with saucy routines in clubs.
Ofcom is looking into whether Von Bourbon's previous appearance fell foul of the broadcasting code, which says children should be "protected by appropriate scheduling from material that is unsuitable for them".
The routine first featured in an edition of the programme screened at 8.20pm, repeated on a Sunday at 1.05pm.
