Daniel Radcliffe reportedly wants to make sure that his romance with Erin Darke is "special" before announcing it.
The British actor and his fellow Kill Your Darlings star are rumoured to have been dating for months.
Daniel broke up with his girlfriend of two years production assistant Rosie Coker in October.
The star is considering whether or not the public should know about his and Erin's affair.
"Daniel was really taken with Erin on set but is cautious about coming out and saying he's seeing someone before he knows it's something special," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"But he thinks now is the time to go public with the relationship."
Daniel and Erin looked particularly affectionate with one another over the weekend.
The couple were audaciously flirting at a party in Utah following the Sundance Film Festival premiere of Kill Your Darlings.
"They were getting very intimate at the party in a vodka lounge, kissing and with Daniel stroking her leg," a source revealed.
"He's usually not one for casual displays of affection so it obviously meant something.
"And when they left they were hugging and giggling."
