Daniel Radcliffe: I prank my mum

Daniel Radcliffe will never be able to throw a dinner party as he isn't a confident cook.

The 25-year-old actor may take on many serious roles on the big screen, but away from the camera there's no stopping him from pulling pranks. His mother Marcia often falls victim to his jokes, but her love of comedy helps her see the funny side.

"My mum and I have a very similar sense of humour. I sent her a photo of a pregnancy test someone had left in the checkout line. How do you walk around thinking, 'I need this... Eh, I'll have a bag of wasabi peas instead'?" Daniel mused to People magazine.

He may be good at cracking jokes but Daniel isn't so confident when it comes to the kitchen. Despite being loved up with his girlfriend Erin Darke, it's unlikely the star will be whipping her up a tasty meal any time soon.

"I can cook some pasta dishes for myself, but not anything I would ever cook for anyone else," he admitted. "I would never be able to throw a dinner party on my cooking skills."

Daniel is constantly busy thanks to his work schedule. He is currently promoting his latest movie, horror flick Horns, as well as working on several upcoming features.

All the travelling means he can't always keep track of his belongings, with several gadgets previously going missing.

"I lose things a lot. At one point I think I lost probably three phones within one year," Daniel added. "But I recently lost my iPod, and I thought it was gone forever. After about three months I found it in my bag in a pocket I didn't even know I had."
