Danny DeVito 'flirting irritated wife'
Danny DeVito's marriage reportedly came under strain because his wife "had enough" of his "bad boy behaviour".
On Monday it was announced that the 67-year-old actor and Rhea Perlman are getting a divorce. The couple had been together for 30 years and their split came as a shock to many. However, RadarOnline is now reporting that their marriage ran into problems because of Danny's flirty behaviour.
"He may not appear to be a ladies' man, but Danny certainly gets a lot of female attention," a source close to the family told RadarOnline.com. "Danny can be quite the flirt… Despite his reputation as a lovable, funny guy in movies and on TV, Danny's actually quite the womaniser… After years of turning a blind eye to it, Rhea finally snapped. She had enough of his bad-boy behaviour and wanted an end to their marriage."
The website also alleges that Danny and Rhea's marriage had been on shaky ground for a while.
"The break-up has been on the cards for a long time, probably over ten years, because they haven't been happy for a long, long time," the source added.
The pair wed in 1982 and have three grown up children together. Rhea is best known for starring in hit US TV show Cheers, and she also appeared alongside Danny in the 1996 family movie Matilda.
