Darcey returns for more Strictly

Darcey Bussell has a two-year Strictly deal, according to The Sun

Darcey Bussell has signed a deal to to stay on as judge in next year's Strictly Come Dancing, it has emerged.

The former prima ballerina insisted on a two-year contract when she moved her family from Australia to replace Alesha Dixon as judge on the BBC One show, The Sun said.

According to the newspaper, if producers wanted to replace Darcey in 2013 they would have to pay her for the second year of the deal.

A source was quoted as saying: "Her first outing divided people but she has grown into the role tremendously. The other judges love her as she knows her onions."

Darcey first appeared as a guest judge on the show, before landing a permanent role when Alesha quit her place alongside Len Goodman, Bruno Toniolo and Craig Revel Horwood to join Britain's Got Talent.
