David Beckham is reportedly diving headfirst into French culture after confirming his move to soccer team Paris Saint-Germain and is attempting to impress his wife Victoria with his French meals.

The British hunk recently revealed he had joined the Ligue 1 Paris Saint-Germain soccer team in a “unique” five-month deal.

Now that he is stationed in France primarily, he is diving headfirst into French culture.

A culinary enthusiast, it is rumoured that David is eager to begin preparing special dinners for Victoria and their four children.

“David is loving the French life and has decided he wants to immerse himself in it further by learning how to cook their meals,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.

“He loves his food and can’t wait to impress Victoria in the kitchen. His favourites are chicken and seafood so he is especially keen to learn dishes that include those. It will give him a hobby away from football.”

David is also actively taking on the language.

Apparently it is essential that he becomes fluent in French.

“As for the language lessons, David hopes that he can at least get a basic grasp of French soon. The PSG team communicate on the pitch in French so it is an unofficial requirement that the players can speak it,” the insider explained.

“David picked up good Spanish in Madrid and even a bit of Italian when he was at AC Milan, so he is hoping he will get it.”

British magazine Grazia reported recently that the chic city is looking forward to welcoming David's wife Victoria and their tykes, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and baby daughter Harper when they visit.

David is believed to be staying at the exclusive Royale Suite at Le Bristol Hotel in the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore for the five-month duration.

A source told Grazia the suite can cost around £13,500 a night, however Paris Saint-Germain "will foot the bill."
