David Beckham 'turns taxi driver'
David Beckham is rumoured to be shopping for a black taxi, which will allow him to drive around "incognito".
The handsome football star is apparently on the lookout for an authentic black cab, one of the most synonymous objects of the British capital.
Friends say that 38-year-old David thinks getting the car will be a great way to travel around without being noticed.
“David reckons having a London taxi will help him sneak around incognito," a close pal revealed to British newspaper Daily Star.
“Being one of the most recognisable faces on the planet means it’s sometimes hard for him to do his normal day-to-day errands."
Aside from being one of the biggest names in showbiz, David is also a busy family man.
Along with wife Victoria, he takes care of their brood of four - sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, and nine-year-old Cruz, as well as two-year-old daughter Harper.
Far from wishing to shun his fans, David just wants the freedom to go about his daily mundane tasks like everyone else.
“He loves his fans, and always tries to make time for them, but sometimes he just wants to nip out to the shop like a normal person.
“People usually spot his flash cars a mile off, so he thinks a low key taxi would be the perfect disguise in London.
“Plus if he’s running late, he could use taxi lanes and get away with it!" the friend joked.
It's been widely reported how normal David and Victoria are, and despite their millions, the married couple are said to be keen for their children to remain unspoilt.
"When David and Victoria lived in the US, they worried their kids would end up 'LA brats', but they're bringing them up with as normal a life as possible," a source recently told British magazine Closer.
"They're strict parents but are just a normal family - they go on days out together, play football in the park and feed the ducks."
