Delevingne ‘won’t take orders’
Cara Delevingne has supposedly been receiving complaints from her modelling agency about her new tattoo.
The 21-year-old supermodel-turned-actress shared a photo on Instagram over the weekend of her new tattoo, a marking on the bicep in cursive print that reads “breathe deep”.
Apparently executives at her modelling agency are furious she got another inking, but the star is said to have politely dismissed the alleged upset.
“Cara is her own person, and won’t take orders from anyone,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.
“She also joked about Kate Moss being airbrushed, with no one complaining about that. The tattoos are here to stay.”
It is claimed agency leaders were worried about how her new piece would impact runway opportunities.
And Cara reportedly informed them the personal decisions she makes with her body are no one else’s business.
“Cara is without doubt the world’s most tattooed high profile model. It is not ideal for catwalk shows, especially when she’s modelling delicate summerwear, and particularly feminine collections,” the insider explained.
“But her family are totally supportive, and couldn’t care less, so that’s all she’s really bothered about.
“She told bosses that anything can be airbrushed these days and it wouldn’t affect her
Cara is currently cultivating a career in Hollywood and has landed parts in forthcoming films like 2015 releases Pan and Tulip Fever.
Speculation is rife she is being offered several movie roles and has decided to honour her new profession by taking care of her health.
“Film offers are flooding in but a lot of them are ridiculous – things she would never consider in a million years,” the source said, noting Cara is now embarking on a temporary alcohol detox.
"She’s waiting for the perfect roles and, in the mean time, is focusing on getting healthy and in tip-top condition.”
